THE UCPCO 'William Rodriguez' Annual scholarship
The Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to up to TWO high school senior mentees from the UCPCO program, as well as up to TWO high school seniors from the Phoenix community to aid in individual college expenses. The actual scholarship amount will be determined when the scholarship application details are released at the end of May, annually.

This scholarship is named after our beloved family member, who was once a mentee in the UCPCO program, participating on our AZ Spartans basketball team for over two years. He was an unfortunate victim of gun violence in 2020, but we want to honor the person he was and the endless opportunities that he had by offering assistance to other youth in the community. His kind spirit and quest for better opportunities will live on through the recipients of this scholarship named in his honor.
